    hi guys,

Just wondering if it's possible to install 6L6s and re bias, and what Milliamp to bias it to?

Also what is the factory mA setting for the EL34s? There was no mention of it in the manual (my factory tubes are microphonic)

I have a bunch of old GE 6L6s in matched pairs from my fenders and I'd love to try them out!

    Thanks

I would talk to PRS first BUT the H and the C and basically the same amp with different transformers and startt out life with different power tubes
I have EL-34s in my H set as below ( sounds great IMHO )

"spoke to Doug between sessions and asked about biasing it. He told me to set it to 30mv plus or minus 5mv. He said that the amp could handle EL34 tubes as long as the bias is adjusted to the same 30mv plus or minus 5mv."
