I think they are looking into making a production version. it may not be handwired.. but I have not heard anything definitive... Mike Clark told me they are looking into making a less expensive unit..

I would love to hear that amp with rocking 408 or Archtop pickups - clean but dimed (no master in the circuit).

Maybe it's just me but that is a thick sounding EL84 circuit. Definitely not a chimey as my Mesa .22. Almost has a blended EL84-6V6 tone. Very cool.

If you're looking for a sweet little 10 - 20 watt Amp, try the Egnater Rebel 20. More power needed: try the 30. I've got an Egnater Rebel 20 I use just for jamming at friend's houses, so I don't have drag all my rack mount stuff which is all cabled to mixing boards and speaker systems in my home studio.

I use a backup Roctron Intellifex for the Reverb and effects, since the Egnater does not have a reverb, but does have a Send and Return path. That combo is easy to transport and quick to setup just for jamming or a practice session. It has both 6V6 and EL-84 tubes, so I can go all one way or the other or mix them. It drives two 12" Celestion Speakers and is awesome when cranked up or it can play crystal clean. It's really a nice setup.

Sometimes, I just don't want to uncable the rackmount gear and transport it. It's heavy and bulky and a bear to uncable and set back up again. The Egnater makes is so sweet and easy.
