I find the stock 180 pF treble bleed cap to be just fine. I installed a 500 pF on an Andy Timmons strat and it was VERY bright. Season to taste, but I’d start with the 180 pF. I would use 500k pots for volume and tone as standard. The BKP 550K pots are a bit too strident-sounding for me...
One-off indeed. Thanks for the close up! Never seen anything like it. I like how they used the quarter tile pattern on the 45 for the edges. I wonder if there's a story behind these.
There is no PRS factory lead-color dogma for pickups. Makes no sense to me but there you have it. Make sure you get the color spec for your exact pickup before making changes. I suppose you could also just look inside your control cavity and figure it out:
