Thanks! There is a 10 top and a non ten top up for sale that both have them as well. I always thought they were AP only, thus my confusion.
Anyone know the story? I'm interested in yet another one!
:)
The core is WELL worth the additional $$$ IMO.
I love both my HB 594 and HBII, but did not care at all for the 2 SEs I played. YMMV as usual!
Adding...just checked and my HB594 is slightly deeper than my HB2. The HB 2 is the more hollow sounding guitar though, due to the smaller internal block...
Zero neck dive! When I buy HBs, that's my first question to the dealer. I can't deal with it.
My other one is 4 lbs 13 ounces, and is the lightest guitar I have owned. They must have specifically chosen a lightweight neck for that body, as the same result. No neck dive!
:):):)
The usual LTs. These sound pretty high output though that I like! Very close to my 57/08s.
Amazing how much darker a RW neck makes these guitars, but that cool "thump" on the low strings and that RW midrange bark is very addictive!!! Also smooths the highs in OD..
Fantastic guitar!!!
I just looked at my PS HB594 and sure enough it has the flat fret tops!
However, the action is microscopic, has no fret buzz and is the easiest playing guitar I own.
My last R9 was like that as well, so my PS HB594
and 60th anniversary R9 are tied for the best action I have ever had...
That definitely happens more on very resonant guitars. That Strats doing it all over. All my guitars do it to various degrees. I never really thought anything of it because you can hear it's the overtones canceling it out. Heavy, dead guitars I think may do it less because you don't have that...
Please do a video camera clip of this and post it on YouTube. I would really like to hear this for myself. If it's that bad, the guitar has a fault so return it. Please post video.
Much appreciated.
