Baby powder is talc. Talc is STONE. If it gets into your lungs, it never comes out. Corn starch is a much better option. Many baby powders and medicinal powders (like Goldbond) have switched to corn starch for this reason.

Not a fan of "white" wood. I hate how Fender doesn't tint some of their necks. Now.. white"washed" wood, or white blonde... that's a different story... I love white blonde, and whatever that white finish is on the new NF53s.

Does anyone have any experience with pickups that are very similar to DGTs (any maker)? Asking because I LOVE the DGT pickups- especially the bridge- and I'd like to be able to put them in a different guitar (not PRS), but they can't be purchased after-market (unless you get lucky finding a set...

That'll do it (military then Shiftwork)... Ironically, my wife (who also needs to lose a little weight, like me), snores TERRIBLY but does not have sleep apnea (according to her home test... but then I think the home test only checks for ONE kind of sleep apnea, and there are at least 2 kinds...

I've read where losing weight (no doubt a considerable amount) can help or even eliminate sleep apnea... did you try that? True enough I'm the heaviest I've ever been. I'm not obese according to BMI, but just below. That is going to be remedied. Too many health issues come with extra weight.

Haha... speaking of sleep, I forgot: today I went and picked up a "home sleep study" to check me for sleep apnea. When my wife did it, it was a breathing contraption on her face... but this is a watch linked to a finger probe and chest sensor. So tonite I'll be RECORDED not sleeping well!
