I have a 2012 Dual Channel H with a couple noise issues and am wondering what might be causing them.
There's a hum with the Reverb, turned down it's barely audible but gets louder as I turn it up. Could this be a tube issue?
There's also what I would call an above average amount of hum and a...
I did end up sending mine back and picked up a mint PRS Dual Channel C for the same price so it ended up working out well for me. It's a shame that "some" of the new amps are shipping that way (which is what I assume) since I could never play one locally to see if it was an anomaly or not.
I purchased a used PRS Channel H without a foot switch and am having very little luck finding a PRS replacement.
I've noticed Fender has a dual foot switch that has a channel and a reverb switch and wondering if it would be okay to purchase one of these?

Again, if I purchased it used that may be a solution but not one I'm willing to deal with on a new piece of year and thus the one caveat for purchasing online versus local.
Local here in Nashville means an additional 9.25% tax and online doesn't unless it's Amazon.
I'm glad that I'm not alone regarding this issue and as I mentioned earlier, I had read about the same issue on another forum or review.
As far as changing the tubes, the amp is brand new and that's unacceptable for $800. I've already shipped it back to Zzounds and just ordered a used PRS Dual...
And again, the noise is the amp with nothing plugged into it. No cables, no guitar, etc. Just the hiss and maybe an occasional soft pop. I have a Tweaker 15 head that is dead silent, so my expectations aren't unrealistic.
I've had it standby for a while and just checked it. There's a minimal difference when you plug a cable into the loop but not enough to make a difference.
Thanks for the info all. There's no volume controls for the effects loop and nothing plugged into it. The amp makes noise with nothing plugged into it and I read a similar complaint several weeks ago which I can't find now.
I got it from Zzounds last Friday after the amp magically appeared...
I've just purchased a Sonzera 20 and love the tones but the noise it makes when I'm not playing bothers me, especially with the clean channel. It's a pronounced hiss and has nothing to do with the volume.
Is this typical for the amp or is mine problematic?
