So I tried the Seth’s and they were ok but if I dialed my “amps” in so that the bridge wasn’t shrill, the neck was quite flubby. I just put some Slash 2.0’s in it yesterday and it’s fantastic now. Thick but clear in both positions.

So I put the Seth Lovers in and there’s far better balance between neck and bridge. I do however want a bit hotter/thicker/compressed under gain bridge pickup. What are your recommendations? As much as I’d like to try some bare knuckle or boutique, I’d prefer something in the Duncan range do...

Warm but articulate. Good string to string definition with chords. Highs on the mellow side. I usually play edge of breakup to low-mid gain. I’m trying the Seth’s because I have some in another guitar and was going to pull them out of that because it wouldn’t hurt to have something brighter in it.

I will give that a try before I switch em out. I set them to spec and did try a range of a full turn of the adjustment screws up and down. I started with these settings: Bridge 2.5/32” treble side, 3.5/32” bass side. Neck 3.5/32” treble side, 4.5/32” bass side.

Guitar came Wednesday evening. Fit and finish are flawless. Tuners are fine….not great. I expected that from reviews though and ordered some Klusons. Acoustically the guitar sounds rich and has great sustain. I was able to do a setup (per PRS specs) and run it through my pedalboard out to PA...

I appreciate the heads up! Really do. I’d have probably torn the thing apart before even considering cavity depth. And I f I keep the guitar I’ll be replacing the wiring, so thanks for that heads up as well!

I’d love the opportunity lo be able to run through something like that! With the volume level I play at it’s just not an option.

Thanks for your input man! I have some Seth’s in a Gretsch semi hollow without feedback issues. But it’s most likely my setup. I play through a UA Dream, Ruby or Lion out through a Canvas Stereo to the house and monitor through in-ears. I assume that this sort of setup is less prone to feedback...

I have a CE 594 Singlecut coming tomorrow. For those of you with experience with the 58/15 LT S pickups and Seth Lovers, how would you say they compare? I have a set of the latter and am wondering what kind of differences I may find between the two?
