    SE HBII Piezo wiring diagram?

Thanks for the reminder on the phasing. I know it's easily overlooked. You drilled into a core HBII to add the mini-toggles? Can I see a pic of where you located them? I understand the switch on the push-pull is independent of the potentiometer. What I was saying is I'd rather not drill...

    SE HBII Piezo wiring diagram?

I don't think I'd want to put mini toggles in the HBII, I'd want to go for push/pull pots. I asked about this when I bought the guitar and was told the push/pull pot would have to go on the volume pot, could not be put on the tone pot, due to the circuit board?

    PRS SE 35th Review

nothing at all wrong with the 59/09's. Yes they are warmer, but I'm not sure if they're that much hotter than the TCI S. For me, I can get the mellow sound I want by backing off the volume or rolling off the treble with the tone knob. Yes, braid goes to ground. Simply grounding the tap is...

PRS SE, Out of phase, Wiring, Wiring Diagram

Responded to you on the other thread. I do not have the wiring diagram for a 59/09 pickup. I would contact PRS tech support if it's not in their schematics database on this website.

    PRS SE 35th Review

Have you tried using the tone knob? Seriously, I'm not being sarcastic... I have a core McCarty P22 with the 59/09's, they are a more mellow pickup. The braid is shield. Is the braid around a wire? The TCI system fully isolates a single coil when splitting, which requires access to all 4...

If You Only Had 1000 Dollars: SE vs S2?

I'd go with the 'right' SE 35th Anniversary Custom 24 with the TCI pickup system, or an SE Paul's, over an S2.

    PRS SE 35th Review

That's one of the nicest one's I've seen! I got one of the black/gold and might have to get one of the blue ones then sell the black/gold... You could put any 4-wire humbucker in these guitars and wire it the same. What you will be losing is the 'tuned-capacitance' part of the system, which I...

    SE HBII Piezo wiring diagram?

Hoping someone on the forum, or maybe someone from PRS, can provide or post a link to a SE HBII Piezo wiring diagram? I'd like to look at the possibility of installing a coil tap on the tone knob...

String Height at the first fret

String height at first fret: Is this measurement made while pressing down the string between the second and third frets?

PRS SE, Out of phase, Wiring, Wiring Diagram

I just confirmed on my SE Custom 24 35th Anniversary that the wiring and color codes are the same as the Paul's Guitar. What's the trick to being able to upload a pdf or jpg? I'd post the diagram if I could...

PRS SE, Out of phase, Wiring, Wiring Diagram

If it is wired like and color codes like the SE Paul's Guitar, the part left out and imho hence the confusion, is the color code or a diagram for the pickups and to consider pickup orientation/phasing.. Also note that PRS coil taps (on the TCI pickups anyway...) do isolate the 'tapped' coil...

    PRS SE fret wire...

Appreciate all the replies here BTW! I told myself I didn't need any more guitars and then the SE Paul's guitar came out and... And now they announce the SE Hollowbody II... What's a poor boy to do??? :)

    PRS SE fret wire...

Appreciate your replies Mozzi. I'm curious what PRS uses on the SE's because the fret wire on the core models in my experience holds up better than the Fender models I use. I used my SE Paul's Guitar on gigs over the past two weekends and was very happy with how it performed. I'm also...

    PRS SE fret wire...

I use the standard D'Addario EXL's, either 9's or 10's. Would the D'Addario EXL's be considered hard on frets? I think I change strings more often than most - I like to keep the new, bright tone.
