Yeah I'm unfortunately thinking transformer too... I've never had something power down before. With fuses and tubes it usually just dies immediately... at least that's been my experience.

Hey guys - I have a sonzera 50 combo that quit on me at a gig yesterday. It was odd - it started to "glitch" ... kind of like when your wireless unit is too far from the receiver... then it slowly powered down (volume got quieter and quieter and power light dimmed) until it was unresponsive...
