Thank you for your kind reply. I also prefer to go with the traditional mahogany CU24 but the finis and being 24-08 type really catches me. Also I really love single coil tones on ash body, like Fenderish tones so may be this guitar fits me well but I think I should try and see.
Thank you for your response. I generally - 90% - play progressive rock/metal - "Opeth" type of music to be more specific - and jazz. I play blues, classic rock, etc. when I jam with my friends. That's why I think to choose CU24-08 with swamp ash body and 85/15mt pickups. What do you think, do...
Yes I watched them 2 times in the last 8 months, they were amazing and they use the piezo sound so many times during the show. In addition, I play "Opeth" type of music generally - and a little bit jazz - so I'm searching for a PRS guitar for that type of music more specifically. Till now, I...
Due to the COVID-19 situation I didn’t have an opportunity to try them yet. That’s why I want to have some opinions and thanks to you guys that sharing your thoughts with me.
What about P24s, are they just regular CU24 with Piezo? Do you like it? Which one would you suggest P24 or CU24-08...
Thank you all for your responses :) Actually, my main concern is the reliability of the split system. I encounter many guitars whose split systems did not work well or just failed. Do you have any experience on them, how are they responding in the long run?
Hello dear all,
I just found my dream CU24 (in terms of cosmetics) however it’s a CU24-08 with Swamp Ash back and 85/15MTs. How does it sound when it’s compared with a regular CU24?
I generally play progressive metal/rock but looking for a guitar to handle some jazz, fusion also.
Thank you...
Thank you for your brief review about those :) I checked and saw that the CU24-08 I’m looking at has 85/15 so I think this guitar suits my needs really well :)
Hey,
Could you please explain the differences between these two guitars? I will buy one of these however I will probably buy online so I do not have a chance to try them. I want to play prog rock/metal with it but also the versatility to play some jazz, fusion, blues, etc.
Thank you for your...
Stunning instruments. I’m looking for a Custom 24 but I have a question. Due to the pandemic I cannot go to a store and try them so, could you please describe the differences between a mahogany back and a swamp ash back? And a Maple vs Ebony fingerboard? Do you have any favorites?
