Yeah man!!! I have a McCarty soapbar with an irw neck. It was love at first strum. Then I bought an se245 soapbar for a backup. Then I bought more PRS guitars. And now also have an artist pack 594 soapbar with an irw neck.

And that’s why I had to order mine from them. It’s 100 miles to the nearest PRS dealer. So availability for me was definitely limited.

My guess is PRS learned from the SE SS and SE 594, that you need plenty in stock when you announce a new guitar. So this time the dealers are ready, but with the stock just sitting there, the dealers want to start moving them.
