    yes, without the channel-switching-cable connected – 4-cable-method works fine. At the moment I connect the channel switching cable comes hum. Sort of grounding issue in Helix I think.

    My experiences with self-made-cable: * G-Lab GSC: works well * Rolls RP93 Switcher (pretty old one :-): works well * Line6 Helix in 4CM: problems – 4CM works well until I connect the cable for amp switching --> hum

    Yes, amp is pretty new, I bought it new in October 2015 (and it was repaired once already, I had crackling issue all the time before :-(, now "only" at vibrations), I hope PRS and my vendor will find the fast solution for me, I need the amp ... Edit: PRS found a solution for me, very satisfied :-)
