    58/15LT or 58/15LT+

I don't think the + is a hotter build. My DC Resistance measurements are: BRIDGE: Full: 7.36 k Tapped: 5.05 k NECK: Full: 7.68 k Tapped: 4.70 k Now, my best friend has a standard catalog version of the double cut McCarty 594 with regular 58/15LT pickups. His readings are: BRIDGE: Full: 8.16...

    58/15LT or 58/15LT+

My 2012 double cut Wood Library 594 came stock with LT+ in both positions. I don't find them hot at all when compared to my Gibson guitars with Custombuckers, T-tops, and Burstbuckers. I play more with the tapped positions more than full humbucker.....but I have always played my PRS guitars...

    NGD: 2023 Core McCarty 594

Congrats on your new 594. They are the best of the PRS offerings. I have few to qualify this opinion. The 594 is called the "Les Paul Killer" for a very good reason. Enjoy it!

    58/15LT and 58/15LT+

Matt King (PRS Guitars) May 16, 2023, 16:58 EDT Hi Larry, The LT+ pickups were made to add a little more high end into the mix to help with EQ. Due to the thicker back of a singlecut model, they tend to have more low end, so we wanted to add a little high end through the pickups. Regards...

I sent a message to Matt King earlier today for an answer. I should hear form him soon.

    58/15LT and 58/15LT+

I found this answer from Shawn in another thread: "The LT+ is only available in the SC594 model, they are not used in anything else. They are tuned to be slightly brighter and a touch louder than the traditional LT pups."

    58/15LT and 58/15LT+

Is there any official description of the differences in these pickups? I realize that, usually, the + is in the SC guitar. But, I have seen the + in DC too. My new DC Wood Library has the + version. It has an Indian Rosewood neck and a Brazilian fingerboard. I am not unhappy with anything...

    594 vs Gibson 59 reissue?

I have a 594 and two R9s, and a 2022 Standard LP. The frets on the R9 are very different than what you find on the Standards, Customs, Traditionals, Tributes, and Classics. The feel of the neck carve of the 594 is very similar to the R9......but not to the others. The frets of the 594 are...

Thanks for all your comments. Yes, I am in love with this 594. I have a lot of guitars, this may quickly become favorite. It truly is amazing.

NGD: McCarty 594 Wood Library Roswood Neck/BRZ FB

I have been a PRS owner and player since around 1991......owning many with different models. But this is the most amazing NGD I can remember with a PRS model. Now I have not played a rosewood neck model in about 13 years. I have never played a Brazilian board on a PRS. I don't know that...

    New SE's!

I received my A50E today. WOW!!! I was not prepared to be this impressed with an Asian acoustic. Just WOW! I really don't see how Paul can sell this quality at this price AND include a really nice hard case. Thanks Paul!!!

2003 Hollowbody I 2006 Custom 22 2010 Studio And, my Hollowbody is a McCarty Hollowbody just like someone else mentioned. I guess they all were at the time. And, there is no choice on the poll for the Studio. It is a core model. 57/08 and 2 NF pickups w/10 top.
