It's mostly a TGP thing. I just ignore it. BTW, I took my McCarty 594 to a blues jam a little over a week ago, and nobody knocked me for playing a PRS.......quite the contrary.

This DC594 S2 is currently sitting at a local store that's only a few miles away, and I've been tempted to grab it. Since I already have a Core 594, I don't really need it, but it's a pretty sweet guitar!

You know, after a while these 594s (or any PRS in general) start to feel so comfortable that a Les Paul starts feeling uncomfortable. I actually ended up selling my last Les Paul upon purchasing my 594 in June. Congrats on the new guitars!

Interesting! The 5708s in my '09 Ted are 8.77k (bridge) & 8.1k (neck). I've never felt a need to swap out the pickups in this guitar.

If it were my guitar, I'd try swapping the pickups just to see how much of a difference there is between the two sets. You can always put the original set back in.

I'd like to see the front as well! That is indeed some beautiful wood!
