    Using aftermarket pickups in your PRS

    I replaced a HFS in the bridge position of my Custom 24 with a Duncan JB hoping for a little more kick. I cannot tell the difference and am thinking about putting the HFS back in. Maybe use the JB on my Les Paul.

    Apparently. It was kind of a waste of time and money. One of these days I'll put the HFS back in there and eyeball my other guitars and see who could use the SD.

    Thinking I might juice my Custom 24 a bit, I swapped the bridge pickup with a SD JB, which is supposed to be a pretty hot pickup. I'll be damned if I can tell the difference in sound or output, though. YMMV
