If that is steel wool under your springs, I'd get that out of there.
In some views it looks like your high E fulcrum screw is a little high. Kind of hard to tell but that would explain the clicking noise. Knife edge falling in and out of groove when you move trem.
As mentioned, the impedance between the two pickups is kinda close but they should be different enough to tell them apart.
5708s are all over the place depending on what year any given 5708 was released but I'm going to guess the "p22" 5708s should be in a tight range.
I've got some p22 5310s...
5310s haven't been produced for a while now. If you want those you'll have to go to the used market.
Flipping the magnet entails taking four tiny screws off the back plate and carefully flipping magnet then putting it back together.
You wouldn't be able to tell it's been done by looking at it.
Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but if your guitar has piezo pickup then I think one of the mag pickups needs to have magnet flipped to make it out of phase.
5909s won't come that way. 5310s or 5708s out of a p22 will.
