Has anyone tried Bare Knuckle The Mule with a 5 way rotary? I'm just really curious how the in between positions 2 & 4 sound with the mules? Any feedback from those who tried it would be appreciated

hey everyone, I found a great deal on a 2014 SE standard. It has Seymour Duncan pickups in it...I asked the seller what kind and he said they came stock. According to him PRS was doing this for a short time. Is this true? If by any crazy chance that’s true what model pickups are they?

Played mainly electric all my life and looking to transition to Acoustic. Can anyone recommend a PRS SE model that is small bodied or closer to a feel and play ability of a electric? If PRS has nothing like that...any other brand/model recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replies! Decided against changing the pots. Put a multi-meter to the alpha pots in the SE and the volume measured pretty much dead on spec and the tone was off by only 18. And the taper on the volume pot behaved nicely when lowering the volume on the multi-meter nice and smooth...

I'm looking to replace the volume and push/pull tone pots and the 3 way toggle. I've read the SE are metric and i would have to bore out bigger holes to make any new ones fit...is this true? Are there any that will fit without doing so? Any recommendations? thanks in advance!

I was correct in my pervious post. Just finished wiring it up and everything tests ok.

I believe i have figured it out. For the Neck pickup the Black is hot, Red is ground and the green/white are coil tap. For the Bridge the Red is hot, Black is ground and green/white are for coil tap. Can anyone who has swap pickups on their SE confirm this before i wire it up. Thanks

My low E and A strings are tight in the slots of the nut and don't move freely unlike the rest of the strings. Is this normal or should the slots be opened to allow them to slide freely like the rest of them?
