Price check on a 2014 SC245 with rosewood neck?

Just seeing this now, sorry, and thanks for your sage advice. I recall how excited I was to get this thing, and these things tend to be cyclical. ;) So thanks, and that's a stunning Braz neck beast you linked! Wow.

A very fair point, and a real quandary. Part of me wonders when -- or frankly, even IF -- our economy will recover.

Price check on a 2014 SC245 with rosewood neck?

I'm finally getting around to selling a 2014 SC245 in Blood Orange Burst that I've had in my collection for years, and I'm trying to figure out what it's worth. It's got the Artist package, a rosewood neck, and Brazilian fingerboard. And it's in mint condition, having literally been played just...

I'm considering a couple pickup swaps and could use some input.

I can't really argue with that logic, it's pretty sound. ;) Probably cost me $1000, but it's solid advice. lol

Don't they though?! I think my quandary is less about any dissatisfaction with my PRS pickups, than simply, 'what can I put those P-Rails into?!' ;)

I'm considering a couple pickup swaps and could use some input.

That's an interesting thought that for some reason I hadn't considered. It's not that I don't like the 53/10s, I just want to maximize the sonic ground I can cover with 4 guitars (the two PRSi mentioned, along with a Les Paul '68 RI and a Tele). And then I started reading/hearing about the...

I'm considering a couple pickup swaps and could use some input.

So, I've got a McCarty 58 (57/08s) and a P22 (53/10s). I love both of them, although I must admit that they overlap sonically a fair amount. That is to say, given limited financial resources, and my general goal of acquiring a diverse stable of guitars, I'm finding it hard to justify keeping...

Does the P22 battery run down with just the magnetic output plugged in?

It's a great idea, but there's been no consistency as to when/how it was plugged in. It gets rotated with an MC58 and an LP. But I've gone through 4 Duracell ProMaxWhatever batteries in a little over two months. I want to live your life. How many of those guitars in your sig are...

Does the P22 battery run down with just the magnetic output plugged in?

Well that's good to know what I have to look forward to, now that I'll be fully unplugging it. Could you guesstimate how many hours of playing time? (I don't recall hearing PRS mention battery life, now that I think of it.)

Does the P22 battery run down with just the magnetic output plugged in?

It is a bad habit leaving it plugged in, but it's safely ensconced in a corner of my study. At any rate, it'll be unplugged completely going forward. Can't believe I didn't realize the piezo was still active. They had become separate and distinct in my mind. Which raises a question though, is...

Does the P22 battery run down with just the magnetic output plugged in?

That first sentence...I'm not entirely sure how I failed to grasp that. Damn liberal arts education. So, thanks for spelling it out for me. You've saved me a fortune in batteries, which will go toward night classes in remedial logic. ;)

Does the P22 battery run down with just the magnetic output plugged in?

I'm mowing through batteries on my P22. First couple times, entirely my fault for not realizing I'd left the piezo plugged in. But even now that I'm unplugging the piezo every time, it's still dying too quickly. Do I need to start unplugging it entirely?

Am I crazy for wanting to replace the pickup rings on my P22?

Genuine question, as I simply can't decide if the white pickup rings on my P22 (purple hazel) are distracting or a necessary ingredient. I've changed the truss rod cover, but something about the pickup rings give me pause. I can kinda see how the slightly-off-white rings bring a nice accent...

    A P408 with USB/MIDI/rechargeable perma-battery: how far off?

FYI, I can't say I'm a big fan of said assembly, particularly after breaking mine once in the first 30 days of ownership. But I'm glad they're $30, because I'm pretty sure I will need another one before the year is over.

    A P408 with USB/MIDI/rechargeable perma-battery: how far off?

Late to comment, but this really interests me as a fellow keyboard player (Kurzweil w/large sample library). MIDI is still the most efficient method of the sampling world, no? I'm eager to see it displaced by something more modern, but what is that, and when do you think we can we expect it?
