Can I ask what PRS charged you to replace the original troublesome battery holder on your HBII with the new model?

I have a 2003 HB II with the piezo and I just bought the PRS guitar care kit. The polish specifically warns the user not use this product on a nitro finish. So my question is: does anyone know what finish PRS was using on the HBII series in 2003?
