NAD! HDRX 20 - gigging guitarists are going to LOVE this!

Very interested in one of these. Master Vol seals the deal for me It may go against the ethos of recreating the HDRX vibe, but does anyone know if a combo version is in the works? A 19" wide "lightweight" combo would be an ideal practice / gigging amp for many

Wife wants to buy me a new PRS…what to pick?

I have 2 MEV's, one with a hog neck, the other with maple Honestly, you can't go wrong with these babies. Super versatile, and a joy to play. I have a PS Studio as well, and the narrowfields are excellent. But for the mix of coil options, the MEV's win out. If it was me, I'd go MEV with a...

Love this one, and the hybrid metalwork complements it beautifully. Northern Lights has a bit more variation in it, and is one of my favourite colours. Got an MEV in it

    Archon 50 = nailed it!

I understand this version has a better transition between clean and breakup at lower gain settings on the lead channel. How good are the lower gain tones? Crisp and clear, or lacking in detail?

MESA combo Amp decision: TC-50 vs Rectoverb 25 vs Badlander 50 vs Mark V 35

@strat63 .. your wicker Filly 25 looks the business! It's certainly on my small list of "want" amps, so when one comes up ...:cool:

MESA combo Amp decision: TC-50 vs Rectoverb 25 vs Badlander 50 vs Mark V 35

Long time Mesa player here, before I found "my" sound in Carol Anns. I second the option of a Fillmore, which provides the versatility I would want. I had a love/hate relationship with my MKV, but loved the Stiletto and Lonestars I owned, and on paper, the Fillmore touches those bases in a 2 CH...

    Definitive Guide to PRS Amps

Yes indeed - hence the more accessible price point. PRS were very clear about origin in their promo vids at launch. Everything I've heard about them in Europe so far has been good.

    Definitive Guide to PRS Amps

:):) .. sold .. thanks for pointing out the tweedy mids push. More bottom end than my Bad Cat is hard to imagine! This thing shakes foundations with a huge subsonic rumble that dis-orientates the north Atlantic whale population

NtmRCD- New to me Refurbished Cab Day- or, a bigger cannon to fire an HXDA through!

Yup - get that, and good description. I run mids and bass higher through the 4x12 that my 2x12 loaded V30's. Makes sense :)

    Definitive Guide to PRS Amps

2 CH Custom 50 in the stable, and it's a great all rounder The 2 CH was the rig Bernie Marsden used for a European PRS clinic tour with Paul, and I was fortunate enough to buy it off his tech. Great clean channel, and is one of the most pedal friendly I've come across. It's a keeper just for...
