Yes, just do a proper set up. Especially with the tremelo The Holcomb is a custom 24 and it's set up to drop c. You could do 10-52 gauge. I have the SE version and it's great.
I have a McCarty with a \m/ in the bridge and an 85/15 in the neck. It's a sweet combo.
Yep unfortunately. It was six I believe. The whole show was great though. First time I've seen Breaking Benjamin in 10 yrs. breaks my heart to see Ben playing those ESP/LTD. his custom baritone hollowbody was sick.
Edit. It was 7 songs. Come to Life, Farther Than the Sun, Ties That Bind...
It was a great show. Didn't see the 594. Looked like he was playing a McCarty reissue in Fire Red Burst for Come to Life and Farther Than the Sun. Mark rocked the baritone hybrid for Isolation.
Some of these have been said but here it goes
1) singlecut 25" scale in matte/satin finishes and stoptail.
2) core 7. Double and single cut with extended scale
3) the return of the core Standard 22/24
4) Tremonti Baritone
5) PRS Archon lunchbox head
6) more special order events like last...
Got to plug it in to my Mesa Mark V:25 last night. This thing is mean sounding. great articulation on every note, clean and dirty. The neck is different but not in a bad way. gonna play it some more today. I might drop the tuning down to A# for some Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle songs.
I was...
Mine showed up yesterday. Keeping it in the office till I can sneak it in the house tomorrow. The neck is awesome. Definitely different, however, easy to adjust to
