Been in Osaka 30 years, am a native Queens NYer.
Been playing guitar since I was 17 still at horrible but still taking lessons full on. Been in bands most of my life from 15 as a vocalist: last band I played bass and love that beast as well.
Learning Jazz for better chordal and melody comprehension, but it is doggone hard for this old man at 52. Lol
PRS is the only guitar I refused to buy another one unless I REALLY LOVED it: I bought a used Singlecut waaaaay back in 2001-2, not long after they’d come out. I wasn’t ready for it, it was pure brilliance, and I remember the tone 20 plus years later. Yeah, it cost a bundle and I should have kept it as my only axe with an acoustic because now I’m a lot older and money has to be saved plus guitar prices have skyrocketed so betting great instruments like this are really tough for me now. - 1. A Fender Highway 6 body Partscaster with SD pickups and a Warmoth Fatback 3A birdseye maple neck, stainless frets, and Sperzel tuners: best axe I have.
2. Have a Cort Hiram Bullock that a bought but hate the body and parts: all junk because the previous owner didn’t know what he/she had and didn’t take care of it. Cort makes decent stuff, but I bought this to modify.
