You probably won't. Got rid of my PRSs a few years back to get a Les Paul ( 50s tribute gold top). They were all SEs anyway. I couldn't afford a core. Only thing I have now is the AL. I swing by to ogle the PSs on friday sometimes, but thats it.

Did PRS make a guitar back in the late 80s that had a volume, 5 way selector knob, and "sweet" switch for the control layout? No tone control knob.

Bernies are a good guitar. I liked mine when I had it, except for the electronics. The switch started crapping out. Buetiful looking guitar too.

They have put Pauls signature on the headstock with SE under it. Looks real good. Thats how it should have been all along IMHO. So congrats Paul Reed Smith on a great looking guitar.

Ohhhhh. Its a BASS. I remember seeing it roughed out awhile back.

Ive heard 2 reasons. First was when Nashville flooded a lot of guys lost a lot of gear and needed it replaced FAST. PRS was there to fill the void. Second is that they have NO patience for you being out of tune. If your out of tune they just thank you and move on, so a guitar that stays in tune...

No. I am sure the Core models are great, but Im not at the skill level nor the income level to justify paying that price . I suck. And Im pretty much disillusioned at this time with the SE line. Scratchy pots and switches that don't work. Ill keep that Bernie for awhile and replace the switch...
