What's on everyone's Christmas wish list?

When it comes to the guitar side, I just ordered a Zilla Modern 2*12 with celecrion creambacks 12M. Should get some production shots from Paul (from Zilla cabs) today. So much looking forward to it. Second would be to test a 594. the stores in my area currently don't have them in stock.

Anyone else lusting after this burnt maple leaf CU24 on reverb?

Hi Alan, Short question on the vibrato. I already started another threat checking the forums experience in the hybrid hardware. Do you experience any "unusual" quick corrosion or fade of the golden saddles? Mine started to wear of the gold very very quick after just a couple of hours playing...

Anyone else lusting after this burnt maple leaf CU24 on reverb?

You have to buy it! Mostly because I own #97 of the final 100 :D But other than that because it looks incredible, should play like a dream, 85/15 are just wow! I am just more of a fan of pattern Regular than thin :)

What setup did you start out with?

I started with a Yamaha Pacifica as probably most of the guys who live in Europe. It wasn't exactly what I liked (was more of a heavy fan back then) but I kept it fore a long time as it was a great guitar for the money. Guitars that followed: Ibanez PGM, Gibson SG special, Esp horizon, self made...

    NGD - 58/15 Content!

Awesome looking guitar! Congrats! One question on the 58/15: Did you had the chance to A/B your new PRS with a 85/15 equipped CU24? I am current experience with my 30th Ann CU24 is, that I quite often dial back the tone to around 8. Meaning, I prefer less treble from the PU. I have also tried...

Looking for opinions on CU24 finish

I also like it and I think it gives the guitar a cool "vintage" look. I also purchased my first PRS some month ago and mine also does not have a 10 top or higher. Mine is in orange tiger and gives the guitar a unique and for me irresistible rusty look. You can see the guitar in my picture. I...

Best Sounding Rig In The History of YOUR World?

So I just found this thread going through the amp forum and wanted to share my news with you as I am extremely happy with my newest purchase. A couple of weeks ago I was playing a laney ironheart 15w head. One channel with an extremely tight and good overdrive sound. Pretty good for any style of...

This is probably very subjective, thoughts?

Hey Stephen, This is a little of topic so please let me know if this should go to a separate topic. You said you want to save your money for a private stock. But what if this personalized guitar then doesn't sound like you expect and it is more like the eg gibsons you sent back? It will...

    Not so NPSGD...

Wow that's stunning! Congrats! I just started another threat regarding corrosion on my hybrid hardware. Would be interesting if you could keep me updated if and how the golden bridge screw corrodes whilst playing her. I have my CU24 for 1 1/2 month now and can already spot "more than I...

Overdrive pedal plans -- JHS angry Charlie vs AT vs X

Thanks to all for the comments! I understand what you are saying. The thing is though that the laney can do both sounds I need very much perfect. First is a heavy but tight distortion with my maxon in front of the amp to play heavy stuff with my esp in c tuning. Second is clean sound with the...

Overdrive pedal plans -- JHS angry Charlie vs AT vs X

hi all, I am currently searching for a new pedal to go into my clean amp as my main distortion sound. Currently, I play a laney ironheart 15H which despite its one channel overdrive layout can provide some very nice, rich and warm cleans. The goal is to have a reactive and dynamic distortion...

New to the forum, PRS and NGD

Thanks guys for the support and good advice on the blade and thanks for the comments on my new PRS. I have to say that I initially very much like the forum! Very friendly and supportive people around here :) I just lost myself for 3 hours of playing yesterday. Just amazing what the guitar does...

It is indeed a astonishing maple top! Mine is not that flamed but I kind of like the "rusty and used" but very at the same time very precious look. Although I would some much like to spec a PS with a beautiful flames top

New to the forum, PRS and NGD

So I have decided to leave the guitar as it is since is a minor optic "issue" but nothing that keeps me from having the most fun ever playing it. really I thought going into detail with my first post, why I like it so much compared to e.g. my ESP but it is just so hard to describe. Maybe the...
